Psychologists, Therapists and Counselors
Clinical Supervision with Dianne Everitt
I have been working in mental health since 2010, and my passion for the field of Psychology has grown beyond what I thought was possible.
I offer supervision to counsellors, therapists, and other Psychologists. I have a background in systemic family therapy, and understand interactional patterns and processes well. I have worked in a specialist service in the NHS for medically unexplained symptoms and long term conditions. In private practice, my focus is on adolescents and adults who are high-achieving, and struggle with difficulties like self-esteem, relationships, depression, high functioning anxiety, perfectionism, burnout and work related stress. I have worked with high-performers across various industries.
I am warm, humorous, curious and analytical. I use an integrative approach, and draw mainly from ACT, narrative, solution-focused, systemic, and person-centred therapies. If you are looking for a supervisor, feel free to book a 20 minute free chat so we can see if we are a good fit.
One to One Mentoring
When I was training as a Psychologist, one of my professors told me to find a mentor and utilise their wisdom and experience to grow as much as I could. And so I did. And the impact on my journey and growth was profound.
In 2016, after my second child was born, the NHS didn’t pay me enough to cover two sets of childcare, and I was thrust into private practice full time. There was many, many 3am wake ups to check whether I had any new referrals coming in. I have made many mistakes along the way, refined my systems and processes, learnt how to build a website and market a practice, and gained an enormous amount of knowledge that I wish I had back then.
I have gone from not knowing where to begin finding clients, to building a thriving practice that I love. In 2022, I decided I wanted to work in a team with other Psychologists, and so Dianne Everitt became Dianne Everitt and Associates. I have built a practice I love working in, and I work with clients I love working with. I know how challenging it can be to let go of the security blanket of employment, usually within the NHS, but I can honestly say I have not looked back.
Today, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge with others who are on a similar journey. Whether you are starting out in Private Practice, or looking for creative ways to expand a practice, I would be happy to mentor and guide you in your journey and all of the practical realities that come with growing a practice and running a business.
Join our Team
We are always looking for Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, who work to the highest standard, to join our team. If you are registered with HCPC, and have experience in working with either adolescents, high-achievers, or neurodivergence, we would love to have a chat and see if you are a good fit.
We have a lovely team of Psychologists, and our ethos is to attract the right talent, and then be a happy workplace that keeps our staff happy. We have worked on implementing systems and processes, as well as a warm and collaborate culture, that make for a pleasant working environment.
We offer monthly peer supervision, and do our best to facilitate a sense of team, as private practice can be lonely. We value good communication, offer support in getting set up, and don’t believe that micromanaging ever got the best out of anyone.
If you would like to know more, or think you might be a good fit for us, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
